Gazza G is going to be fired day one in office by the Trumpy one if he beats Kamala. That said, as we all know SEC bosses customarily tender their resignation upon regime change anyway but that seems to be beyond the scope of crypto meeja understanding of the legacy world. On the other hand it allows for some Apprentice style cartoonery (guilty as charged) and it’s also interesting that the crypto meeja seem to be pricing in Trump victory. I too happen to think POTUS 45 is likely to be POTUS 47 but there’s a rise of Kamala wobble to be overcome before her flaws become apparent (presuming Trump doesn’t somehow implode under duress). Amusingly back in EI 2732, we reported on “The Next Gem” a crypto show hoping to become The Apprentice of crypto competitions. I doubt Gary Gensler will try to appear in that post election either. In any case, Gensler knows a full term as SEC Chairman is usually the limit and hence would be looking to either step out, or if Kamala becomes President, step up to a different role.
